Finding affordable and well-made sliotars can be difficult in the United States.  You’re either buying name brand sliotars for upwards of $10 per ball, or you’re taking a risk by going with a manufacturer in Pakistan claiming their $1.50 sliotars are the best. (Not to mention minimum order requirements of a few hundred plus 3-6 month lead times).

That could all change!

A friend recently brought an Amazon listing to my attention where you can get a dozen O’Neill’s sliotars for $45!  I just had to get my hands on them and test them out.

(This review will be my personal opinions and I have not received any payment or free products to conduct this review)

First, I brought them to a CU Hurling puck around to try them for myself, and get first impressions from my players.

Then while I was at the 2019 Southwest Classic in San Diego, I was able to get an opinion from David of Play Hurling!

Lastly, I took one apart and did some testing!

Overall, these are a great option for training sliotars.  They’re affordable, decently well made, and ship to your door in only a few days!  If you decide to grab some please let me know your thoughts!
